Protection Consultant has canines that have been trained to detect explosives, narcotics, and firearms.

Our canines are trained utilising positive reinforcement methods that ensure consistent performance. A detecting K-9, like an athlete, requires ongoing care, training, and conditioning.

This will be determined by a number of things. The size of the area to be searched, the number of rooms, the type of contents in the area, and whether or not vehicles will be inspected are all factors that influence how long a search will take. A typical residential house of 2500 square feet or less takes around an hour to complete.

All members of Georgetown’s threat assessment teams are experts in their professions, and they were chosen to serve on a team due to their knowledge and aptitude to manage a wide range of circumstances and issues. All team members have received training in campus threat assessment and violence reduction best practises.
